Sometimes those off-the-cuff moments can be the most precious.

In August 1981, we held our first reunion. Excluding the time we met for Dad's funeral in 1978, the last time the family was together was in 1974.  As luck would have it, Mom's eldest sister from Guatemala, Central America, was also visiting in Vancouver.
By this time, all excepting for Janice were married. Janice would marry Brad Chase in 1982.
